Yes — this was a priority when we set up the space. Full-size daylight windows run the length of the living area and bedrooms, drawing in whatever light the Pacific Northwest sky offers. It genuinely does not feel like a basement.

About 10 minutes by car heading west on 85th. Golden Gardens is Seattle's best beach park — Puget Sound waterfront, fire pits, and views of the Olympic Mountains. A great evening activity from Seattle Escape.

Yes — we live in the space above and are available as needed. We try to give guests their full privacy, but if something comes up we're always close by.
